Mgr. Libor Kapalín is a founding partner of the Váňa, Kapalín & Partners law firm and now its Managing Partner. He completed his studies with distinction at the Faculty of Law of Charles’ University in Prague in 1997. He entered the legal profession immediately thereafter and worked at the JUDr. Věslav Nemeth & Partner and Gerloch, Nemeth & Partners law offices before joining Váňa, Pergl & Partners in 2000. He passed his bar examinations with distinction in 2001 and subsequently became a member of the Czech Bar Association.

Mgr. Libor Kapalín possesses extensive expertise in a number of legal areas - in particular, corporate, contract, and banking law, claim enforcement, securities, bankruptcy, compensation, insolvency, real estate, financial and criminal law. In the past, he participated substantially in the financial recovery projects of Czech and Slovak banks and other financial institutions. He has been in the statutory bodies of a number of companies and, thus, has gained knowledge concerning their effective administration and management.

As part of his activity Mgr. Libor Kapalín mainly deals with corporate law, tax issues, the acquisition of companies and individual property values, transactions with receivables,  real estate transfers,  real estate development and more prominent criminal cases. He was responsible for managing VKP together with JUDr. Milan Váňa. He became Managing Partner of VKP following the death of the former senior partner and now runs the financial side of company activity, finds new clients, maintains relations with existing clients and represents VKP in public. He often sits at the head of VKP working groups that deal with more prominent individual cases.

Mgr. Libor Kapalín provides legal services fluently in Czech and English. In 1997 he obtained the prestigious Certificate of Proficiency in English from The University of Cambridge. He speaks Italian as well.
