JUDr. Jaroslav Komárek was a highly experienced lawyer dealing mainly with representation in civil and criminal proceedings, who has closely cooperated with VKP since the beginning of the firm. He completed his studies at the Faculty of Law in 1951, before working as a judge at a district court in civil matters and from 1975 onwards in the position of presiding judge at the District Court in Cheb. He joined the Bar in 1993. In addition to his general legal practice he has always specialised in matters of labour law and issues of real estate. Due to his active knowledge of German, English and Russian languages, he is often involved in dealings with international partners. Currently, he acts as an advisor to our firm in issues of differences between legal regulations of the Czech Republic and other EU member countries, specifically in the fields stated above and also in the area of tutelage, where it is necessary to solve disputes by a system of law with international elements. He continues to work as a court-approved interpreter in German and is entered in the register of interpreters in the Czech Republic.
His son, Mgr. Jan Komárek, is continuing in his footsteps. He entered the legal profession in 1996 after completing his studies at the Faculty of Law. His activity focuses on the legal securing of property transactions, services to estate agents and in development activities. His specialisations include civil law, family law and matters of inheritance. He is often involved in cases that relate to transport and the problems of legislation relating to motor sport, which is also something of a hobby. His most common practice includes representation in civil disputes and defence in criminal proceedings. Last but not least, he is involved in the legal issue of insurance, insurance contracts and the issues of liability associated with this. He can communicate in Czech, German and Russian in his legal practice.
